CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer II to join our Land Development Team based in Savannah, GA.

We welcome applications interested in a hybrid schedule working both in office and from home with occasional local travel.


Your Impact 

CHA's Land Development team facilitates cooperation among the developer, regulatory agencies, local review boards, consultants, and the community. We give careful consideration to impacts on traffic, stormwater drainage, water and sanitary services, and the environment. With all those moving parts, CHA is the one resource that can plan a project tactically, design it cohesively, permit it seamlessly, and construct it successfully.

At CHA, the Engineer II plays a key role in supporting the design, development, and technical analysis on various land development projects for all different types of clients.  Additional duties of this position may include preparing reports, contract documents, and cost estimates as well as identifying technical discrepancies and making appropriate corrections when needed. The right person for this role will be a self-starter who enjoys working autonomously and has demonstrated Civil3D abilities.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of related Engineering experience required; Specific experience with commercial retail, municipal projects, and hydrology/storm sewers is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering, computational, and modeling software, specifically AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Some local travel may be required
