AITC seeks a Systems Engineer overseeing engineering activities of an organization's information systems.

Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.

* Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions.

* Manage and monitor all infrastructure and systems installations, including configuration, testing, and maintenance.

* Proactively work to improve reliability, stability, and security of the enterprise.

* Ensure all network devices and configurations are compliant with current DoD and Army regulations.

* Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and establish preventive measures.

* Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.

* Work with developers to deploy and maintain applications, including hardening and vulnerability remediation.

* Create and update documentation.

* Ensure correctness of all diagrams, device checks and databases.

* Additional duties as assigned.

* Seven (7+) years of related experience.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* ITIL Foundations within 6 months.

* SECRET Clearance

* Security + CE

* Must be a US citizen.

* Able to work Overtime as required.

* Must be available to travel as required.

* Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations

* Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.

* One or more of the following:

o CCIE

o CCNA

o CCNP

o Linux+

o Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

* Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

* Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.

* One of the following:

o CEH

o CFR

o Cloud+

o GICSP

o SSCP

* Predominantly indoors in a normal office environment.

* Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.

* Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.

* May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time.

* Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

* Must have visual acuity.

* Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
