We Offer:

As a Customer Facing Business Controller in the NAM region, this newly created role will be instrumental in reporting on customer costs, forecasting based on activity, preparing budgets, and presenting monthly costs to the customer as an LLP. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the reported costs, cultivating a clear understanding of passthrough customer costs and revenue, whilst collaborating with numerous stakeholders to provide the accurate information within tight monthly deadlines. This position therefore understanding of operational finance processes, monthly oversight of the company control framework, and accountability for financial performance and risk reporting. You will collaborate closely with Customer Program Managers, Finance operations within and across control towers. This role will also work with Global BCO team and the continuous Improvement Team to set up initial reporting, analyze and enhance operational finance business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

-Ensure the accuracy and completeness of reported profits and provide insights into product profitability.

-Present accurate monthly costs, accruals, forecasts, and budgets to customers as part of LLP reporting requirements. Investigate and report variance on forecast and budgets.

-Manage operational finance processes daily.

-Implement and adhere to the company control framework outlined in the Maersk Control Manual.

-Mitigate any quality audits (internal/external) related to financial exposure.

Accountable for month-end reporting of financial performance and risk.

Technical Skills & Key Competencies:

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Customer and people oriented.

-MS Office tools, data analytics and reporting.

-Data Mining/Analysis / Power BI

-MS Office (Advanced in Excel

- Advanced Knowledge of SAP/FACT

- Maersk systems

- Familiarity with LLP reporting requirements and control frameworks.

- Team player with proven ability to work under pressure and independently with little supervision.

- Visible driving force of Maersk Values and winning behaviours

- A strong execution minded individual with financial technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus including analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Knowledge of logistics market

- Focus on delivering high quality work.

-Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills-

Able to manage ambiguity an able to work in agile environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

-Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Proven experience in financial control, reporting, and analysis. Ideally 3+ years

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

- Knowledge of operational finance processes and continuous improvement methodologies.

- International Logistics experience preferred

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
