WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Senior Test Technician Lead is responsible for performing standard testing processes on a variety of equipment while recording and analyzing the results. The technician records data from the testing in standard formats and provides results to production team. As a Sr. Test Technician Lead, you will assist technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. Requires knowledge of industry specific test such as DWV, IR, VSWR, IL, Phase, Delay, and equipment such as Cirrus, DITMCO, 8510 VNA Network Analyzer, O-scopes, and multimeters are desired. This position reports to the Assistant Production Supervisor and must be able to work under moderate supervision, be a self-starter that is competent, efficient, and proficient in the full production life cycle for all product lines. This role should have the ability to mentor, train and supervise other test technicians.

* Testing of in process and final assembly cable assemblies.

* Maintain Test database(s) for accurate and complete information.

* Supporting Engineering in performing test and developing test procedures.

* Documenting test procedures.

* Completing test data sheets for products tested.

* Maintaining the testing database.

* Reliably, neatly, and professionally performs work.

* Accurately and timely completes assigned testing tasks.

* Self-navigate and utilize PLEX operating system as related to Production.

* Performing work as stated by the Specific Work Order.

* Creation of new test methods and process standards.

ABOUT YOU:
To perform the role of Estimator successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Associates degree or equivalent experience.

* 2-5 years of experience with ERP systems (SAP, Plex, etc.).

* 3+ years of experience working in an ISO 9001 Aerospace/Military Manufacturing environment.

* 2-3 years electrical testing and troubleshooting experience.

* Can program and run various types of test equipment such as DITMCO, CIRRUS, 8510 VNA Network Analyzer.

* Excellent coaching and communication skills.

* Advanced knowledge of trouble shooting failures such as DWV, IR, VSWR, IL, Opens, Shorts.

* Ability to read and understand wire Schematics and disseminate values.

* Preform additional activities assigned by your supervisor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous supervisory experience.

* IPC-620 certification.

* Point to point wire harness test and troubleshooting.

* Familiar with using O-Scopes, Multi Meters, Milliohm Meters.

* PCB board layout and trouble shooting.

* Familiar with Mil-STD-1553 operating system desired.

* RF testing background.

to evaluate quality or performance.

alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

* Ability to read and understand presented information in writing
